The Bizarre Bizarre Arts Extravaganza - Fine Arts Gala

Our exciting Bizarre Bizarre Arts Extravaganza will soon be here! Frederick Festival of the Arts, Inc. conducts its primary fundraiser which is an annual spring gala. This extravaganza supports a juried national fine arts festival that we bring to the Frederick community the first weekend of every June.

This year, we have added a new and challenging component to our fundraising efforts. Our board of directors has unanimously agreed to establish a scholarship endowment fund. Every year we will fund a scholarship in art to a Frederick County student at Frederick Community College. Will you help us attain this goal?

Highlights of the evening are live and silent auctions of art donated by the artists who were exhibitors in the Festival the previous year, as well as independent artists who support the Festival and believe in our art-related programs. All of the items in our auctions are original works of art.

2008 Fundraising

The Frederick Festival of the Arts is proud to be taking part in the Frederick Running Festival happening on the 3rd and 4th of May. There are many ways to become involved

• Run/walk in one of the races
• Be a team supporter, help out on the day of the races
• Be a team sponsor, we are looking for sponsors to provide T-Shirts for the runners
