Volunteer orientation for Festival volunteers has been slated for Saturday, May 31th 1:00 - 2:15pm and Monday, June 2nd 6:00pm - 7:30pm.

Due to our change of venue, we are doing things a little differently this year - including changing our session location to the C. Burr Arts Library Community Room in downtown Frederick. Volunteers are asked to attend one of the sessions where a short group presentation will be given to the group. There will be time for question and changes to assignment after the presentation. Volunteer T-shirts will be handed out at this time. If you cannot make orientation, please contac the Festival office at 301-694-9632 or e-mail Jillian to make alternative arrangements.

The application Deadline has passed for this year. Please leave your address and email and we will make sure to send you an application next year. As a thank-you to all the wonderful volunteers to who dedicated their time and energy to the 2007 Festival, we are holding an appreciation BBQ on Saturday, June 16th at 2:00pm. One of our Board members has graciously offered their farm as the location for family fun. Some of last year's activities included croquet, live music jam, a dip in the the kid's pool and ATV rides. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided, but we do request that volunteers bring their own beverages and a simple sidedish or dessert.
