Greeting from your Volunteer Coordinator!
Welcome to 2008, the year the Frederick Festival of the Arts will celebrate its 15 Year Anniversary by going back to the Creek! That's right, the Festival is going to be held on the new Carroll Creek Linear Park.

The Festival relies heavily on the generous spirit and dedication of its volunteers, without whom the event could not happen. This year will be particularly challenging (and fun!) as we move to our new location. We hope you will want to be a part of the Action by becoming a volunteer.

Volunter Orientation
This year we will be holding volunteer orientation in the community room at the C. Burr Arts Library on Saturday, May 31 and Monday, June 2. Get more details.

The Many Ways You Can Get Involved:

• Be a Festival volunteer.
  Join us on June 7th and 8th. We have lots of different volunteer opportunities - one of them will be right for you!
• Become a Board or Committee member.
  Take your love of the arts another level! Become a member of the Frederick Festival of the Arts, Inc. Board of Directors. Or, join us to chair a committee; we will help you match your interests and skills to our needs.
• Take part in pre-Festival activities.
  There's so much to be done before the Festival. Help with publicity by handing out flyers and posters, or be part of the logistic team and help set up the Festival site.
• Help us with "Special Events".
  Use our new Volunteer News & Notices page to look for additional, year round volunteer opportunities. We always appreciate your help.
